Camping Travel Diary!

I just got back from a super fun camping trip in an RV across Western Kansas! We went to the Monument Rocks National Landmark, Little Jerusalem Badlands State Park, Lake Scott State Park, and Milford State Park. I'm here to tell you all about it!

On our first day we stopped by the Monument Rocks! They were so cool to see especially since that's not really something you see in Kansas. Most of the landscape is flat and these rocks were very unique! There used to be an ocean where the United States is now, so these chalk formations are rich in fossils which is also super fun to see! If you're ever on a trip out west I highly recommend stopping here!

Our camp site at Lake Scott State Park was beautiful! The sunrise was gorgeous over the lake. We also went fishing there which was super fun!

On our second day we went to the Little Jerusalem Badlands! They were absolutely incredible. I've been to the real badlands in South Dakota and these obviously weren't as crazy, but they were definitely just as cool. To see something so different in the Kansas landscape is so weird and so fascinating! The trails we walked on, although long, did give a really nice view from all sorts of different perspectives. You can see in the pictures below!

We also stopped by this cute little sunflower field we found! Isn't it gorgeous?

I highly recommend all of these places for a mini trip or even a longer one! It was super fun to relax and social distance camping!

It has been a minute since my last post...sorry about that. I'm back with a new article today and it's a good one! If you need some carry on ideas, keep on reading! Backpack I love mini backpacks when I'm going on a quick flight, but I choose large backpacks when it's longer. Most of the things I keep in them are still the same though. TJ Maxx and Target have great large and mini backpacks with many styles and colors to choose from! Plus, they're super affordable if you're not looking to spend much.  Mini Bag of Essentials The first thing I put in my backpack is a small bag of small essentials, so they're all in one place. I include mini perfume, hand sanitizer, hair ties, feminine products, and if it's a long flight, I carry cleansing wipes. They are perfect to ...

The first movie I have for you is The Last Song. This is a really good romance with lots of turns you don't really expect!  The next movie I have is Moana! I love Disney movies, but this one ranks pretty high up on the list! The songs, the tropical vibes, it makes it a really fun movie to watch for any age! Next, I have to throw in my favorite show, Grey's Anatomy! I just started it - and finished it - it is amazing! If you like dramatic twists and turns plus a little romance in there, this show is for you! The next movie I have for you is Clueless! It is a hilarious and love filled watch. I highly recommend this ...
