What's in my Camera Bag?

Hello friends! Welcome back to Taylor Travels. It’s good to have you back. If you are new here, make sure to sign up for our mailing list so you can always be notified when a new post comes out! Today I'm going to be sharing with you everything I like to keep in my camera bag! I have a Nikon D3500 Digital Camera and I use a Nikon Camera Bag to hold everything I need. Let's get started. First in my camera bag, I obviously have my camera fitted with an 18-55 mm lens. This is the standard lens the camera comes with. When I got mine it was in a big set that also included a 70-300 mm lens . I love both because I can take pictures up close or far away with the different lenses. The bigger lens is definitely not necessary though.  Next in my bag I keep a lens cleaner kit because if you need to clean your camera for any reason, it's right there in the bag and easy to grab! I have the Sensei Basic optics Care and Cleaning Kit , but you can use whatever works best for you! Up next

How I Pack for RV Camping!

Hello friends! Welcome back to Taylor Travels. It’s good to have you back. If you are new here, make sure to sign up for our mailing list so you can always be notified when a new post comes out! As you may know, I just got back from a camping trip across western Kansas in an RV! If you want to know more about where I went you can check out my Camping Travel Diary! Today I'm going to tell you how I pack for RV camping and a couple of tips I have for you! To start off, I like to use a backpack for shorter trips or a duffel bag for longer ones. I think they are easy to store and easy to carry around. Plus, they don't take up a bunch of room. Inside whatever bag you choose I also recommend you keep it simple. Just the basics. An outfit for each day and an extra one as well. I also bring just the basics for undergarments as well. I like to keep those separate from everything, either in a Ziploc bag or travel cube. Both work very well. When it comes to shoes, I think the less the b

Camping Travel Diary!

Hello friends! Welcome back to Taylor Travels. It’s good to have you back. If you are new here, make sure to sign up for our mailing list so you can always be notified when a new post comes out! I just got back from a super fun camping trip in an RV across Western Kansas! We went to the Monument Rocks National Landmark, Little Jerusalem Badlands State Park, Lake Scott State Park, and Milford State Park. I'm here to tell you all about it! On our first day we stopped by the Monument Rocks! They were so cool to see especially since that's not really something you see in Kansas. Most of the landscape is flat and these rocks were very unique! There used to be an ocean where the United States is now, so these chalk formations are rich in fossils which is also super fun to see! If you're ever on a trip out west I highly recommend stopping here! Our camp site at Lake Scott State Park was beautiful! The sunrise was gorgeous over the lake. We also went fishing there which was super

Road Trip Essentials!

Hello friends! Welcome back to Taylor Travels. It’s good to have you back. If you are new here, make sure to sign up for our mailing list so you can always be notified when a new post comes out! We are back with another post in the road trip series! I'm going to be telling you my road trip essentials! Let's get into it! Airpods First off, I bring my airpods! They are amazing - especially if you're in a car - they won't get all tangled like wired earbuds. That is the biggest bonus for me. I can listen to my music and my family can listen to theirs and no one will be disrupted! Portable Charger Most newer cars do have USB ports, but if yours doesn't or if it's being used, then I highly recommend a portable battery for your phone, laptop, iPad, or whatever you need it for. Mine is from Five Below and I've been using it for quite some time and it works very well. You can opt for a more expensive one, but like I said, my $5 one works great! Book(s) This one is pr
