How I Pack for RV Camping!

Hello friends! Welcome back to Taylor Travels. It’s good to have you back. If you are new here, make sure to sign up for our mailing list so you can always be notified when a new post comes out!

As you may know, I just got back from a camping trip across western Kansas in an RV! If you want to know more about where I went you can check out my Camping Travel Diary! Today I'm going to tell you how I pack for RV camping and a couple of tips I have for you!

To start off, I like to use a backpack for shorter trips or a duffel bag for longer ones. I think they are easy to store and easy to carry around. Plus, they don't take up a bunch of room.

Inside whatever bag you choose I also recommend you keep it simple. Just the basics. An outfit for each day and an extra one as well. I also bring just the basics for undergarments as well. I like to keep those separate from everything, either in a Ziploc bag or travel cube. Both work very well. When it comes to shoes, I think the less the better. Just bring some hiking shoes and I highly recommend some sandals or easy to slip on shoes just for walking around the campsite or for whatever you need them for. For toiletries, I like to bring my Yumi-Kim hanging train case. It is easy to fold up and easy to pop out when needed. Any hanging toiletry case would work perfectly.

Finally, I suggest rolling your clothes instead of folding them. I'm sure you've heard that before, but it's something I really swear by. You can fit so much more, especially in such a small bag!

Next time you go camping, use these tips to pack like a pro!

It has been a minute since my last post...sorry about that. I'm back with a new article today and it's a good one! If you need some carry on ideas, keep on reading! Backpack I love mini backpacks when I'm going on a quick flight, but I choose large backpacks when it's longer. Most of the things I keep in them are still the same though. TJ Maxx and Target have great large and mini backpacks with many styles and colors to choose from! Plus, they're super affordable if you're not looking to spend much.  Mini Bag of Essentials The first thing I put in my backpack is a small bag of small essentials, so they're all in one place. I include mini perfume, hand sanitizer, hair ties, feminine products, and if it's a long flight, I carry cleansing wipes. They are perfect to ...
