Road Trip Essentials!

Hello friends! Welcome back to Taylor Travels. It’s good to have you back. If you are new here, make sure to sign up for our mailing list so you can always be notified when a new post comes out!
We are back with another post in the road trip series! I'm going to be telling you my road trip essentials! Let's get into it!

Airpods
First off, I bring my airpods! They are amazing - especially if you're in a car - they won't get all tangled like wired earbuds. That is the biggest bonus for me. I can listen to my music and my family can listen to theirs and no one will be disrupted!

Portable Charger
Most newer cars do have USB ports, but if yours doesn't or if it's being used, then I highly recommend a portable battery for your phone, laptop, iPad, or whatever you need it for. Mine is from Five Below and I've been using it for quite some time and it works very well. You can opt for a more expensive one, but like I said, my $5 one works great!

Book(s)
This one is pretty self-explanatory, but books are great for occupying time! I'm currently reading Girl, Wash Your Face by Rachel Hollis and it's really good!

A Pillow
Next up, I suggest bringing a pillow, so you can have a seat cushion, or if you're wanting to sleep on the drive then you have somewhere comfortable to put your head.

Hair Ties
This one might also seem pretty basic, but for me they are a MUST! My hair is really long, so when it's been down and rubbing around for a long time it gets all frizzy and it's pretty annoying. That's why I just throw a few hair ties or a scrunchie in my bag and I'm good to go!

A Water Bottle
Next, just bringing a simple small or large water bottle is a life saver on road trips! That way you're not stopping for drinks and it it's way better for the environment!

Snacks
The final item on my list of road trip essentials is SNACKS! The best part if you ask me. If you want my favorite road trip snacks then go and read my Favorite Road Trip Snacks article! :)

Keep these items in mind for your next road trip!

My Top 5 Virtual Vacations!

Hello friends! Welcome back to Taylor Travels. It’s good to have you back. If you are new here, make sure to sign up for our mailing list so you can always be notified when a new post comes out! Since the Corona Virus, travel has greatly decreased around the world. I’m certainly not going anywhere across the world anytime soon! Whether or not you are planning any big trips soon, here are my favorite virtual tours. They are super fun and totally free for you to visit! The first place I have for you to visit is the Eiffel Tower! This was truly one of the most beautiful places I went in France. It is a bit of a hike to/from the top if you choose to climb it, but luckily you don’t have to climb any stairs with this quick little YouTube video! Eiffel Tour Virtual Tour Another one of my favorite places in France was The Louvre Museum. It was absolutely incredible. Usually museums aren’t my thing, but this one was amazing! I highly recommend this virtual tour! The Louvre Virtual Tour I loved

What's In My Carry On?

Hello friends! Welcome back to Taylor Travels. It’s good to have you back. If you are new here, make sure to sign up for our mailing list so you can always be notified when a new post comes out! It has been a minute since my last post...sorry about that. I'm back with a new article today and it's a good one! If you need some carry on ideas, keep on reading! Backpack I love mini backpacks when I'm going on a quick flight, but I choose large backpacks when it's longer. Most of the things I keep in them are still the same though. TJ Maxx and Target have great large and mini backpacks with many styles and colors to choose from! Plus, they're super affordable if you're not looking to spend much.  Mini Bag of Essentials The first thing I put in my backpack is a small bag of small essentials, so they're all in one place. I include mini perfume, hand sanitizer, hair ties, feminine products, and if it's a long flight, I carry cleansing wipes. They are perfect to
